Please read the FAQ very carefully. In this FAQ we tried to give answers to most expected questions, however if you have a question that you did not find its answer please don't hesitate to contact us immediately.

WHAT WE OFFER?

We offer only single side PCBs, we produce rigid, flex and metal core PCBs.
We can panelize boards to be put on same panel.
Our minimum order is 1 panel also we welcome large volume orders.
We can handle component assembly.

For rigid PCB our standard thickness is 1.6mm and copper foil thickness is 35 um, also we normally stock 1mm thick laminates, however if you have any special requirements please contact us.

We have super white solder mask for LED applications for rigid, flex and metal core PCB materials.

ORDERING

 

Q: Do you produce also prototypes or I can order production quantities from you only?
A: We can manufacture PCBs in any volume even 1 piece.

Q: Are my design files safe when I submit them to you for manufacturing?
A: We respect customer's copyright and will never manufacture PCBs for someone else with your files unless we receive written permission from you, nor we'll share these files with any other 3rd parties.

Q: Can I order PCB prototype which you have produced for other customer?
A: Yes, you can, but a written permission from the first customer who submitted this PCB should be received.

Q: When following up my order what do I have to mention?
A: Please mention your customer and order numbers that we will provide to you.

Q: I want to re-order PCB which you have manufactured for me before, should I sent you my files again?
A: No, you have only to tell us the old order number beside your customer number.

Q: Can you send me the phototools together with the prototypes?
A: No.

Q: Can you assemble and solder my prototype boards? Is there minimum order quantity for assembly?
A: Yes, we can assemble and solder your prototype boards. There is no minimum order quantity.

PRICES

Q: What is the cost of PCB fabrication per square centimeter ?
A: We don't have a fixed price per square centimeter. The board price is calculated taking into consideration the dimensions, how the board would be panelized, stacked, what are the minimum tracks/spaces, what and how many drill sizes are used, type of surface finish, solder mask type etc. You will receive a quotation for case by case.

PAYMENTS

Q: How can I pay?
A:There are several ways you can pay, see below:

Cash:

Western Union: we accept Western Union payments.
Bank transfer: we accept bank transfer payments, bank transfer are subject to US$ 30.00 bank handling fee if the order is below US$ 1000.00
Cheques: we accept bank approved payable checks issued by Egyptian banks.

SHIPPING

Q: Does your price include the shipping to me?
A: No, our price is EXW (ex-works) and doesn't include the shipping charge.

Q: What are available shipping options?
A: To be discussed case by case.

LAMINATES

Q: Can you manufacture on high frequency materials as Rogers PTFE and ceramic materials?
A: yes we can, but we don't keep stock of such materials, please contact us for more details.

Q: Can you tell me more about your laminates physical and electrical properties?
A: Yes, data sheets may be sent to you upon your request.

COPPER THICKNESS

Q: What is the standard copper thickness do we have?
A: We 35 um (1 oz) copper thickness, other thicknesses to be discussed.

SOLDERMASK

Q: What types of soldermask do you use?
A: We use Liquid Photo Imageable (LPI) and UV Soldermasks.

Q: We need special solder mask requirement suitable for our LED products?
A: We have super white solder mask specially made for LED products, please contact us for more details.

Legend

Q: Can I have different color than white for legend printing?
A: We normally stock white and black colors, however if you have any special requirements please contact us.

FILE FORMATS

Q: I have options for different precission, which one to pick?
A: Please use 2.4 or 3.4 precission.

DESIGN RULE CHECK (DRC)

The design should comply to the following  DRC specifications:

Minimum track : 0.2 mm (0.008")

Minimum space: 0.2 mm (0.008") track to track, track to pad and pad to pad.

Minimum drill hole: 0.6 mm (24 mils)

Maximum drill hole: 3.2 mm (140 mils)

Minimum annular copper ring around the holes: 0.2 mm (0.008")

mount drills to be at least 0.5 mm (20 mils) to your border otherwise the board edge may break when cut near such hole

Track to edge or pad to edge distance to be 0.5 mm minimum.
